Competitive Stroke, Start and Turn Clinic
September 17 through November 5
 
The Retriever Aquatic Club is pleased to offer our Competitive Stroke Start and Turn Clinic for any swimmer ages 6-14 with summer league experience and/or minimal year round swim team experience who wish to stay in the water during the fall, winter and spring months.
The clinic will focus on proper competitive stroke, start and turn technique. The Retriever Aquatic Club Coaching Staff will be hosting the clinic. The clinic will be held on Wednesdays and Sundays. You may elect to sign up for either day or both days.

Sundays only $90
Wednesdays only $90
Sundays and Wednesdays: $150
 
Participants of the clinic will be placed into groups according to age and ability. These groups are as follows:
 
Clinic I-A: For swimmers aged 11-14 with who are able to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke, and have a basic understanding of the butterfly and breaststroke, who are looking to become legal in all four strokes. Swimmers will also learn the proper diving progression to use starting blocks and do proper turns for each stroke.
 
Clinic I-B: For swimmers aged 6-10 with who are able to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke, and have a basic understanding of the butterfly and breaststroke, who are looking to become legal in all four strokes. Swimmers will also learn the proper diving progression to use starting blocks and do proper turns for each stroke.
 
Clinic II-A: For swimmers aged 11-14 who can swim all four legal strokes (50 yards freestyle, 50 yards backstroke, 25 yards butterfly, and 25 yards breaststroke), and are looking to enhance their skills and understanding of training to improve stroke technique, starts and turns.
 
Clinic II-B: For swimmers aged 6-10 who can swim all four legal strokes (50 yards freestyle, 50 yards backstroke, 25 yards butterfly, and 25 yards breaststroke), and are looking to enhance their skills and understanding of training to improve stroke technique, starts and turns.
 
High School Fitness: For those swimmers who are able to swim 50-100 yards legal in all four strokes who are planning to swim for high school. Clinic will consist of skill enhancement on all four strokes, starts and turns as well as training preparation for the high school swim season.
